Gaviscon Advance Aniseed Oral Suspension belongs to a group of medicines called "reflux suppressants." It forms a protective layer that floats on top of the stomach contents, preventing acid reflux and keeping the stomach contents away from the lining of the food pipe. This action relieves symptoms of heartburn and acid indigestion. The aniseed-flavored formulation is sugar-free and gluten-free, suitable for adults and children over 12 years.
