Description
Nurofen 200mg Medicated Plaster is an adhesive patch infused with ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Designed for the short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscular strains or sprains, it delivers ibuprofen directly to the site of pain over 24 hours. The flexible and stretchable design allows for comfortable application on or near joints, accommodating normal movement without hindrance.
Warnings
Do not use if you:
- Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any of the plaster's ingredients.
- Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- Have broken, damaged, or infected skin in the area where the plaster would be applied.
Consult your doctor before use if you:
- Have or have ever had asthma or allergies.
- Have gastric ulcer, bowel, heart, kidney, or liver problems.
- Are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Additional precautions:
- For external use only.
- Do not cut the plaster; use it whole.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, lips, or genital area.
- Do not cover with other plasters or non-breathable dressings/bandages.
- Do not get the plaster wet.

Directions
How to use:
- Wash and dry the area to be treated.
- Remove the plaster from the sachet by tearing or cutting along the dotted line.
- Peel off the protective film marked (A) and place the adhesive side over the area of pain.
- Remove the remaining sections of the protective film (B and C), stretching slightly and smoothing the plaster as you apply it to the skin.
- Press firmly to ensure the plaster adheres well.
- Leave the plaster in place for up to 24 hours; then remove and replace with a new plaster if needed.
