Dioralyte Blackcurrant is formulated to treat and prevent dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea in infants, children, and adults. Each sachet contains a balanced mix of glucose and electrolytes, including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and disodium hydrogen citrate, which work together to quickly restore the body's fluid and electrolyte balance. The pleasant blackcurrant flavour makes it palatable for all age groups.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Have a partial or complete bowel obstruction.

Directions

How to use:

  • Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200ml of water.
  • Stir until fully dissolved.
  • Use fresh drinking water for adults and children over 1 year.
  • For infants and where drinking water is unavailable, use freshly boiled and cooled water.

Frequency:

  • Adults and elderly: One or two sachets after each loose bowel movement.
  • Children: One sachet after each loose bowel movement.
  • Infants under 2 years: Consult a doctor before use.

Aftercare:

  • If vomiting is present, drink small amounts frequently.
  • If the solution cannot be taken immediately, it can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.
