Description
Nurofen for Children Orange 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a sugar-free and color-free ibuprofen-based medicine designed to relieve pain and reduce fever in children aged 3 months to 9 years. It is effective in alleviating symptoms associated with teething, toothache, sore throats, headaches, minor aches, sprains, and cold and flu. The orange-flavored liquid is easy to administer with the included dosing syringe, ensuring accurate dosing for your child's age and weight. Each 5ml contains 100mg of ibuprofen, providing up to 8 hours of relief.
Warnings
Do not give this medicine if your child:
- Is under 3 months old or weighs less than 5kg.
- Has (or has had two or more episodes of) a stomach ulcer, perforation, or bleeding.
- Is allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient of the product, aspirin, or other related painkillers.
- Is taking other NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg.
- Has a fructose intolerance.

- Has or had asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney, or bowel problems, or is dehydrated, or has chickenpox.
Directions
How to use:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Use the syringe provided to measure the correct dose based on your child’s age and weight.
- Administer orally.
Recommended doses:
- 3–6 months (5–7.6kg): 2.5ml up to 3 times a day.
- 6–12 months (7.7–9kg): 2.5ml up to 3–4 times a day.
- 1–3 years (10–16kg): 5ml up to 3 times a day.
- 4–6 years (17–20kg): 7.5ml up to 3 times a day.
- 7–9 years (21–30kg): 10ml up to 3 times a day.
